Sun Diving Sri Lanka

Great place to explore and try out diving in Unawatuna, Sri Lanka. The staff is very supportive and has good knowledge in their domain. For beginners, you can have a roughly 40 minutes session in a maximum depth of 12m without having any prior experience in diving or even swimming. A diving master will accompany you and even take underwater photographs of you. It can be challenging at times, but definitely worth the experience. They also offer other advanced certification courses for those who want to explore diving more.

We had a great experience here! We followed the PADI Open Water Diver course for 3 days. They send us the theoretical material in advance so we were able to prepare and make sure we lost less time while there. The first day we received a lot of explanation and did several exercises in a pool. The second day we went into the sea for 2 dives (+- 10m) and the third day we went deeper (+- 18m) for 2 dives as well. We passed the exam and got our certificate. Very happy with the experience and instructor, definitely recommend!

I completed my Open water diver course with a sun diving center and they supported me to cover the theory and practical lessons properly. If you hope to complete your OWD you should do the knowledge reviews before you arrive there. I can highly recommend them to do every PADI course with them. They have friendly and qualified dive masters and they very much care about divers.
